Practice Experience
Nikhil Narayanan is a senior associate in the corporate department of the Firm's London office. He has a broad range of experience in equity capital markets, corporate and India related transactions.
Prior to joining the firm in May 2009, Nikhil was an investment banker in the equity capital markets execution team at a leading investment bank in London and prior to that was an associate in a leading UK law firm.
He has recently advised Afren plc on its acquisition of Black Marlin Energy Holdings Limited and his experience (prior to joining White & Case) includes advising on:
- market leading UK and European rights issues and re-capitalisations;
- market leading accelerated book-builds and PIPE exits for various sovereign wealth funds;
- proposed premium listings of oil and gas companies on the London Stock Exchange;
- India related transactions, including proposed London Stock Exchange premium listings and private placements for leading Indian issuers;
- cross-border and UK private mergers and acquisitions;
- banking and mortgage portfolio acquisitions for leading financial institutions; and
- intra-group corporate restructurings and B-share issues for FTSE 100 and other leading corporates.
