Neil W. Rust is resident in the Los Angeles office.

Mr. Rust has a broad transactional practice that emphasizes mergers and acquisitions and finance transactions.

Mr. Rust represents buyers and sellers of public and private companies and has considerable joint venture experience. He has completed transactions for Alorica, Inc., CoreLogic, Inc., First American Financial Corporation, Groupo IMSA Ternium, Smiths Group plc and The TCW Group, Inc. across a broad range of industries including, among others, aerospace, data collection, financial institutions, homeland security, information solutions, manufacturing and outsourcing.

In his financial transactions practice, Mr. Rust represents agent banks in arranging and providing secured and unsecured credit facilities as well as banks that provide credit and liquidity support for bonds. Mr. Rust also represents borrowers in lending transactions. Mr. Rust has considerable experience advising lenders to governments, governmental entities and investor owned utilities. He has completed transactions for Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argenteria, S.A., Bank of America, N.A., BNP Paribas, Citibank, N.A., JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.

Mr. Rust also represents issuers, underwriters and placement agents in both registered and unregistered offerings of equity, convertible debt, senior notes and hybrid securities. Mr. Rust also represents emerging growth companies and venture funds in venture capital financings.
