Mr. Zilkha has extensive experience representing issuers, underwriters and investors in connection with public and private securities offerings, including high yield debt offerings, exchange offers, initial public offerings, tender offers and other capital market transactions in a wide variety of industries in the United States and abroad. He is involved in all aspects of structuring, negotiation and documentation of these transactions and regularly counsels clients on corporate governance practices, corporate advisory matters and ongoing disclosure requirements under US securities laws.

Mr. Zilkha also has extensive experience in advising private equity funds, sponsors and other equity investors in connection with private equity transactions, domestic and cross-boarder mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and restructurings in the United States and abroad covering a broad range of industries, with a focus on the apparel industry and transactions involving the transfer, purchase or licensing of intellectual property rights.

Since the early 1990's, Mr. Zilkha has also advised hedge funds and institutional and private investors in connection with secondary market transactions involving securities, bank debt and other claims relating to financially distressed companies.

Prior to joining White & Case, Mr. Zilkha was a partner at another leading international law firm.
