Practice Experience
Pascal Berghe’s main areas of practice include EU competition law, general EU law and EU regulatory issues. He advises clients on these issues in the context of transactions, litigation and proceedings before the competition authorities.

Mr. Berghe has represented clients before the European Commission in merger control reviews, cartel investigations and abuse of dominance proceedings. He has also been involved in appeals before both the General Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union.

Mr. Berghe has advised companies active in a broad range of industries, including the IT, consumer goods, retail, pharmaceutical and banking sectors.

Mr. Berghe has advised companies and NGOs on EU legislative procedure. He has also been involved in the development of competition law and has contributed to the drafting of regulations or guidelines in several African jurisdictions.

Mr. Berghe has authored a number of articles on competition law and has been appointed as a research fellow at the University of Liège.

Pascal Berghe worked with another leading competition law firm from 2005 to 2006. He joined White & Case in September 2007.
