Florian Ziegler practices in the area of Banking and Finance law, specializing in corporate and financial restructurings, private equity investments in distressed assets and real estate transactions. In addition, he has a broad range of experience in ship financings and transactions.
He advises banks and other financial institutions, private equity investors and corporates under German law in respect of domestic and cross-border transactions.
Before joining White & Case in 2015, he worked over six years in the Banking and Restructuring department of another international law firm in Frankfurt.
Advising Hypothekenbank Frankfurt in the disposal of its pan-European real estate portfolio in the aggregate volume of approx. EUR 2.2bn.
Advising Deutsche Bank as arranger and security agent on the EUR 1.5bn refinancing of IVG AG which included a EUR 680m securitization.
Advising Hapag-Lloyd on the contribution of CSAV's container business into Hapag-Lloyd AG.
Advising a syndicate of banks led by Deutsche Bank on the financing of LOEWE Technologies GmbH which assumed the business operations of the German TV manufacturer Loewe.
Advising Citigroup as co-arranger on a USD 700m refinancing transaction which was collateralised by a portfolio of approximately 30 shipping loans originated by HSH Nordbank.
Advising the steering committee in the successful restructuring of the Pfleiderer group.
Advising the steering committee in the successful restructuring of the Merckle group.
