Ilona Fedurek focuses on banking, as well as corporate, civil and insolvency law issues. She has participated in a number of domestic and cross-border loan transactions, including project finance and acquisition finance transactions, structuring and drafting loan and security documentation. Within the scope of banking law regulatory issues, she has advised on outsourcing banking services, capital adequacy requirements, instruments eligible as regulatory capital as well as on liquidity buffers.

Ilona has significant experience in advising banks on internal banking regulations and bank product documentation. She was involved in the process of preparing a standard form security package for a renowned bank in Poland.

Ilona has also been involved in litigation and arbitration cases handled by the White & Case Warsaw office in connection with investment and construction case disputes involving Polish banks. Furthermore, Ilona has been engaged in insolvency proceedings regarding companies seated in Poland.

Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. (Santander Group): representation of the bank in connection with PLN 1.56 billion indirect financing to guarantee the potential acquisition by the fund FCapital Dutch B.V. of up to 34.29 percent of the shares in AmRest Holdings SE.

Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen Girozentrale (Helaba): representation of the bank in connection with the €133 million refinancing of the existing indebtedness of six shopping malls located in Wrocław, Szczecin, Bydgoszcz, Warszawa, Łódź and Toruń.

Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen Girozentrale (Helaba): representation of the bank in connection with the €96 million and PLN 200 million financing of the acquisition of the Galeria Sfera shopping center located in Bielsko-Biala.

Berlin Hyp AG: representation of the bank in connection with the €16.8 million refinancing and new financing of the capital expenditures and costs of fit-out relating to the modernization of the Obrzeżna Office Building in Warsaw and the Baltic Business Center in Gdynia.

EDF Investissements Groupe SA: represented the company in connection with the PLN 2.4 billion secured financing made available to EDF Polska S.A. for the current activity and financing of the projects of building and commissioning of a wet flue gas desulphurisation and de-nitrification systems in the borrower's plants located in Krakow, Rybnik, Gdansk and Gdynia.

Bank Pekao S.A. (UniCredit Group) and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego: represented the arrangers in connection with the USD 210 million and PLN 80 million financing of the development of an oil field in the Baltic Sea by LOTOS Petrobaltic S.A. The project, worth nearly PLN 1.8bn, is the first transaction co-financed by Polskie Inwestycje Rozwojowe S.A., a company established under the Polish Investments Programme.

Bank Pekao S.A. and Pekao Bank Hipoteczny S.A.: represented the lenders in connection with the refinancing of the existing indebtedness of the owner of the five-star hotel located in Warsaw.

mBank S.A. (Commerzbank Group): represented the bank in connection with the financing of the acquisition of Anwis Polska sp. z o.o., a leading European producer of window covers and components used in their production, by Flarna Polska (ARX Equity Partners' subsidiary).

Helaba Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen: represented the bank in connection with the EUR 136 million financing granted to Starwood Capital Group for their acquisition of three office properties located in Warsaw and Katowice.
