Represented Consorcio Comex, S.A. de C.V. (Comex) and its shareholders in the arbitration proceeding against Sherwin-Williams.
Represented Consorcio Comex, S.A. de C.V. and its shareholders in the acquisition of Comex Mexico by PPG Industries, Inc., PPG paid around US$2.3 billion, including assumed debt, in an all-cash transaction.
Represented Tyson Foods Inc. as special Mexican counsel in connection with its sale to JBS S.A. of Tyson’s poultry business in Mexico and Brazil. The transaction is subject to antitrust and regulatory approvals.
Represented Controladora Mexicana de Aeropuertos, S.A. de C.V. (CMA), a Mexican corporation in the US$222 million acquisition from Desarrollo de Concesiones Aeroportuarias, S.L., a Spanish subsidiary of infrastructure conglomerate Abertis of its 33 percent stake in Aeropuertos Mexicanos del Pacífico, S.A. de C.V. (AMP), the controlling entity of Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, S.A.B. de C.V. (GAP), a public company listed on both the Mexican and the New York stock exchanges. The transaction included the exercise of a right of first refusal by CMA and antitrust approval.
Participated in the trust division audit for a recognized international bank.
