Overview

Tamara is an associate in the Firm's Capital Markets Group in London. She has experience representing sovereigns, public and private issuers and underwriters in a range of secured and unsecured debt, equity and equity-linked capital markets transactions, with a primary focus on emerging markets as well as liability management and debt restructuring.

Tamara has spent six months working in the Firm's Capital Markets Group in Singapore and six months in the Firm's Moscow Office.

Experience

Represented the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development in relation to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia's debut English law sovereign bond offering of Rule 144A/ Regulation S US$1 billion 6.625% Notes due 2022.

Represented Citigroup, HSBC and J.P. Morgan as Arrangers and Permanent Dealers in relation to the establishment of the Republic of Kazakhstan's US$10 billion Medium Term Note Programme and subsequent debut issue of US$1.5 billion 3.875% Notes due 2014 and US$1 billion 4.875% Notes due 2044 under the Programme. The Republic of Kazakhstan was the first sovereign to issue notes which included the ICMA collective action clause.

Represented Deutsche Bank and J.P. Morgan as Joint Lead Managers in relation to the English law debut Rule 144A/ Regulation S sovereign bond offering by the Republic of Serbia of US$1 billion 7.25% Notes due 2021 and subsequent issue of Rule 144A/ Regulation S US$750 million 5.25% Notes due 2017.

Represented Citigroup, J.P. Morgan and UniCredit as Joint Lead Managers in relation to the English law debut sovereign guaranteed bond offering by Southern Gas Corridor JCSC of Rule 144A/ Regulation S US$1 billion 6.875% Guaranteed Notes due 2026.

Represented Deutsche Bank and J.P. Morgan as Joint Lead Managers in relation to the English law Regulation S US$750 million 6.95% Notes due 2030 by the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR).

Represented Citigroup and J.P. Morgan as Joint Lead Managers in relation to the English law Regulation S debut bond offering by International Bank of Azerbaijan of US$500 million 5.625% Notes due 2019.

Represented Deutsche Bank as Arranger and Deutsche Bank, Barclays and Goldman Sachs International as Dealers in relation to the update of Transnet SOC LTD's Rule 144A/Regulation S US$6 billion Global Medium Term Note Programme and subsequent issuance of ZAR5 billion 9.5% Notes due 2021 which featured an innovative cross-currency issue by the state-owned South African utility.

Represented GTECH S.p.A., in relation to the issuance by its subsidiary Georgia Worldwide plc (now International Game Technology plc) in relation to the offering of $5.2 billion senior secured notes in five tranches.

Represented HP Pelzer Holding GMBH in relation to the high yield offering of €230 million 7.5% senior secured notes due 2021.

Represented Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A, Europe's largest producer of coking coal, in relation to its Rule 144A/ Regulation S initial public offering of 40 million shares listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the second largest IPO in Europe and the largest in Poland in 2011.
