White & Case Represents DuPont in Its Successful US$6.6 Billion Public Tender Offering for Danisco AS

Brussels, May 24, 2011 ... Global law firm White & Case LLP advised E.I. du Pont de Nemours (DuPont) on the European Union and worldwide merger control filings in its successful US$ 6.6 billion public tender offer on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange for the entire issued share capital in Danisco A.S. The transaction will combine DuPont’s activities focused on chemicals and biotechnology with Danisco’s food ingredient and industrial enzyme expertise and create an industry leader in industrial biosciences and nutrition and health.

The White & Case Brussels office, led by partner James Killick, coordinated the work, which involved lawyers from a number of different White & Case offices, notably Beijing, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Mexico City and Tokyo.
