for Second Year in a Row

New York, September 14, 2009 ... Global law firm White & Case LLP today announced that it has earned the top rating of 100 percent in the 2010 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), an annual survey by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation that measures commitment to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) workplace issues, making the Firm one of the best places to work for LGBT individuals for the second year in a row.

For this year's CEI, the Human Rights Campaign Foundation rated 590 businesses across a variety of industries, 127 of which were law firms. Among the LGBT-related policies and practices evaluated by the survey were nondiscrimination policies, domestic partner benefits and diversity training.
