White & Case Advises Doughty Hanson and Liberty Property Trust on Their Latest UK Real Estate Acquisition

White & Case advised Doughty Hanson & Co Real Estate, one of the largest European real estate fund managers, and Liberty Property Trust, a US-based REIT, on their joint venture acquisition of Blythe Valley Park Solihull, UK, from The British Land Company PLC ("British Land") for up to £161 million.
Blythe Valley Park is a premier business park located in the Midlands, England, comprising 257 acres and providing 500,000 square feet of existing office accommodation within a total consented area of up to 2 million square feet of office accommodation. The site has been developed by British Land in partnership with Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and permission was granted in 2006 for a second phase of development.
