Record Infrastructure Deal in Mexico Closed by White & Case

New York, Washington, DC, Mexico City, October 5, 2007 ... White & Case LLP represented Goldman Sachs and Ingenieros Civiles Asociados as sponsors in the financing of a 30-year toll roads concession from the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Mexico. The transaction is one of the largest infrastructure financings in Mexican history.

"In turning to the public-private partnership model to develop its infrastructure, Mexico has demonstrated its vision for building a strong economic future," says partner Tomer Pinkusiewicz. "Seamless coordination between our lawyers in Mexico, New York and DC enabled us to orchestrate and close the deal efficiently for our client."

The concessionaire will operate and maintain over 550 kilometers of toll roads in the states of Michoacán, Jalisco, Guanajuato and Aguascalientes.

The White & Case team included Tomer Pinkusiewicz, Jason Webber and Elizabeth Rasmussen in New York, Ned Neaher in Washington, DC, and Juan Manuel Gonzalez, Ariel Ramos, Vicente Corta, Tanya Quiñónez and Andrés Mosquiera in Mexico.
