White & Case LLP honored 19 Firm lawyers and five client teams for their outstanding pro bono achievements and commitment to making a difference on behalf of individuals and non-profit organizations.
Spanning six countries, the honorees worked across a range of pro bono matters, including political asylum and human rights cases, as well as litigation, compliance, corporate and tax issues. Last year alone, White & Case represented more than 200 pro bono clients.
"In the current economic environment, individuals and non-profits face tremendous challenges and often have a greater need for pro bono legal services," said White & Case Chairman Hugh Verrier. "By helping those who need it most, this year's honorees represent the very best of White & Case and the legal profession."
