At our annual legal symposium in Taiwan we will be discussing the changes in Taiwan and the US and their impact for businesses. The theme this year is global challenges, transitions and opportunities in Taiwan.
Our guest speaker, William Stanton, National Tsing Hua University, will discuss the new political environment in Taiwan and its impact on the economy and investment. White & Case speakers will cover a range of topics of importance to businesses in Taiwan. US patent litigation will be covered, including unwritten rules for claim constructions, new issues involving the ITC, as well as Federal Circuit damages claims. You will also hear what General Counsel need to know about the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). We will talk about the areas of change and continuity in antitrust enforcement in the US and Europe as well as how to get the most from IP driven M&A.
