White & Case Ranked Top Bankruptcy Firm Worldwide in 2009

White & Case ranked first in The Deal's end-of-year global bankruptcy league tables for 2009. The rankings measure firms by number of active debtor, creditor and other cases. This is the third consecutive year White & Case has ranked first in The Deal's year-end bankruptcy league tables.
As of 31 December 2009, The Deal credited White & Case with 776 active cases, more than double the number of its closest competitor. The magazine also named 12 White & Case partners among the top individual bankruptcy lawyers worldwide. They were Craig Averch, Biner Bähr, John Cunningham, Sylvia Fiebig, Evan Hollander, Thomas Lauria, Carlos Mack, Henning Mordhorst, Stephanie Pidun, Bettina Schmudde, Sven-Holger Undritz and Gerard Uzzi.
