White & Case has turned in a strong performance in the recently-released Chambers Latin America 2009 directory, with 22 individual partners recognized across the region. These partner rankings – combined with rankings awarded to our long-established offices in the key markets of Mexico and Brazil – confirm White & Case's reputation as a leading global firm active across Latin America. This is Chamber's first edition of rankings for Latin America.
White & Case partners were cumulatively awarded 34 lawyer rankings for the Firm's work in Mexico, Brazil and across Latin America. These included partners from Mexico City, Miami, New York, São Paulo and Washington, DC, reflecting the breadth and depth of the firm's Latin American practice group. One of only two international firms with offices in both Mexico City and São Paulo, White & Case was recognized in the Latin America-wide category with a Band 1 ranking for Project Finance and a Band 2 ranking for Corporate/M&A. The International Arbitration Group was awarded a Band 3 ranking, with recognition for five international arbitration partners – more than any other firm.
The Firm was well-regarded in Mexico with Band 1 rankings for Banking & Finance and for Capital Markets. White & Case received Band 2 accolades in Mexico for its Corporate/M&A efforts.
