Another Year of Increased Recognition for White & Case in the Chambers UK Directory

White & Case has once again achieved an impressive spread of "Leading Firms" rankings in the latest edition of Chambers UK, with three Band 1 rankings and a total of 17 rankings in the top three tiers. The Firm's Band 1 rankings were for "Construction: International Arbitration", "Projects & Energy: Energy Projects", and "Transport: Rail: International Work".

White & Case has also improved its rankings in six practice areas from last year's edition, in "Banking & Finance: Lenders", "Banking Litigation", "Capital Markets (Debt)", "Construction: Purchaser-led", "Dispute Resolution: High Value", and "Financial Services: Non-Contentious Regulatory".

New practice rankings in six areas - "Employment: Mainly Respondent", "Information Technology", "Investment Funds: Private Equity", "Investment Funds: Real Estate", "Projects & Energy: PFI/PPP" and "Real Estate: Big Ticket" - also illustrate the strength in depth of the Firm's London-based practice.

At an individual level, there were 57 White & Case partner listings in this edition's "Leading Individuals" tables, compared to 47 in last year’s edition. This year's edition also saw one of the Firm's counsel and three associates ranked in the "Up and Coming" or "Associates to Watch" tables compared to two associates in the 2008 edition.
