Mr. Ojantakanen advises Finnish and international corporate clients, private equity houses and financial institutions in a broad range of M&A transactions, securities offerings and other finance matters. Mr. Ojantakanen also has significant expertise and experience in energy, insurance and insolvency law. In over 20 years in private practice, he has worked on both private and public M&A transactions, capital market and other finance matters, and on corporate reorganization matters.

Mr. Ojantakanen has also significant general corporate practice, and he regularly advises boards and management of Finnish companies in various corporate and securities law matters. Mr. Ojantakanen regularly acts as chair in general meetings of shareholders of public companies.

During 2005 and 2006 Mr.Ojantakanen has been involved in several cross-border private and public M&A transactions both in global, European and Pan-Nordic level, in various domestic M&A transactions, and in two recent Reg. S. initial public offerings concerning a financial institution and an electrical equipment manufacturer.

Before joining White & Case in 2004, Mr. Ojantakanen was in private practice in Helsinki for more than 20 years.

From 1996 to 2000, Mr. Ojantakanen acted as a member of the Auditor Supervisory Board, the disciplinary and supervisory body of public accountants in Finland.
