Practice Experience
Prior to joining White & Case in 2008, Ryan was an Associate employed in the Mergers and Acquisitions as well as Construction law departments at a leading South African law firm.

He has experience in Construction law, Intellectual Property law, Competition law, Environmental law, Trademark Protection & Litigation and Company law.

Mr Webb has previous experience in:
  • Construction agreements and tender evaluations in relation to the construction of power plants for Eskom;
  • Drafting of various agreements for numerous South African companies, e.g. the sale of shares agreements, buy-back agreements, shareholders agreements, subscription agreements, sale of business agreements etc;
  • Drafting of various agreements and documentation for a JSE listed company on various transactions, specifically, in relation to the sale of one of its subsidiaries;
  • Advised on mergers and prepared merger filings for various local and international companies;
  • Opinion work in relation to Construction law, Intellectual Property law, Competition law, Environmental law and Company law;
  • Opinion work for the iSimangaliso Wetland authority in relation to environmental issues, public financing etc;
  • Drafting service agreements for  iSimangaliso Wetland authority;
  • Drafting of sale of shares agreement and related documents for Eccosse Tankers (Pty) Ltd.
