Simela Karasavidis is a partner in the Energy, Infrastructure and Project Finance Practice. Advised consortium in connection with its bid in respect of the US$2.65 billion 325-kilometre Mafraq – Ghweifat Highway PPP Project (Abu Dhabi);
Advised lenders in connection with PPP concession and O&M aspects and their interrelationship with the financing documentation of the US$1.1 billion Zayed University Abu Dhabi PPP Project (Abu Dhabi);
Advised lenders in connection with PPP concession and O&M aspects and their interrelationship with the financing documentation of the US$5 million Sorbonne University New Campus Abu Dhabi PPP Development Project (Abu Dhabi);
Advised commercial lenders and an international ECA in connection with the Berlinwasser/Mitsui consortium's bid for the Muharraq Wastewater Treatment PPP Project (Bahrain);
Advised sponsor in connection with the provision of public schools management services, for the Cycle 3 PPP Project phase (Abu Dhabi);
Advised public authority in connection with the preparation of the Report and Conclusions Of An Investigation under Article 147 of the Law for the Regulation and Privatisation of the Electricity and Related Water Sector (Royal Decree 78/2004) (Oman);
Advised water company in connection with the Cairo-Suez BOOT Water Supply Project (Egypt);
Advised water company in connection with Project Nefretiti, the development of ten BOT wastewater projects (Egypt);
