Someera F. Khokhar is an asset finance partner and has experience in transactions involving a wide range of assets, including aircraft, rolling stock, mining equipment, and power and telecommunication equipment.

Her transaction experience includes secured debt transactions, pre-delivery financings, revolving credit facilities, letter of credit facilities, US Ex-Im Bank and other ECA supported financings, asset-based structured financings, warehouse facilities, securitizations, cross-border leveraged operating lease financings, and tax-based leasing structures. Ms. Khokhar has also advised on restructuring various structured finance and secured debt transactions representing financiers in the Atlas, United, Delta and Northwest bankruptcies.

Ms. Khokhar also represents airlines and recently closed an export credit supported financing for a Latin American airline which transaction was awarded "2008 Debt Deal of the Year–South America" and the "2008 Aircraft Finance Law Award" by Jane’s Transport Finance.

Ms. Khokhar has represented sponsors on infrastructure transactions which has included negotiation of complex equity financing and governance arrangements.

Ms. Khokhar was previously based in France and England and spent six months on secondment at a major English airline.
