Sevda is an associate in the Corporate department of the Firm's London office and advises mostly on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity transactions. Prior to joining the London team, Sevda worked in Bulgaria and in the Czech Republic.

Sevda has advised buyers and sellers in privatisation sales and private acquisitions. She has also represented investors in relation to post-completion integration and reorganization processes, including on regulatory issues in the energy and telecom sectors.

Sevda's recent experience at White & Case includes:

• Acting for a joint venture between HBO, Disney and Sony in relation to its sale of assets in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia to Chellomedia, the content division of Liberty Global;
• Representing AIG New Europe Fund and Quintus Investment in their sale to Cetelem (a BNP Paribas subsidiary) of JetFinance International, a leading consumer finance company in Bulgaria;
• Representing GMR Energy Limited in the acquisition and subsequent divestment of mining assets in South Africa;
• Representing GE Real Estate in connection with a joint venture agreement with Tishman International, for the purpose of developing and managing Sofia Airport Centre (office and logistic facilities in the vicinity of Sofia Airport);
• Acting for GE Real Estate in relation to a joint venture agreement with Crestyl, a residential property developer, for the purpose of acquiring projects in the Czech Republic and Slovakia;
• Representing AlpInvest Partners N.V. in a secondary acquisition of a portfolio of investment funds and private equity interests;
• Acting for HarbourVest Partners, Pantheon Ventures and LGT Capital Partners in connection with their investment in Clyde Blowers Capital Fund II LP and the proposed acquisition by Clyde Blowers Capital Fund II LP of various seed assets, including four business units from Textron Inc;
• Acting for Goldman Sachs International in a secondary acquisition of private equity interests;
• Acting for a leading European energy group in the unbundling of its electricity distribution and supply businesses in Bulgaria and Romania;
• and Advising a major producer of chemical products in the Czech Republic on the restructuring of its subsidiaries in nine European countries.
