Steven Wheeler joined White & Case in September 2004. After graduating from the University of Connecticut School of Law and being admitted to the Connecticut bar, he practiced for three years primarily in the areas of commercial real estate, corporate finance and capital markets. During this time, he negotiated and drafted documents for complex financial transactions. Later, he was admitted to the Florida bar and spent a brief period of time conducting commercial real estate transactions for a firm in Florida before relocating to Tokyo. In Tokyo, Mr. Wheeler worked for a highly rated Japanese law firm and his practice encompassed a wide variety of legal areas, including project finance, general corporate law and mergers and acquisitions. In addition to his admissions to the Connecticut and Florida bars, Mr. Wheeler is registered as a Gaikokuho Jimu Bengoshi.
