ABA President Lamm: ‘We Must Continue to Build a Dynamic and Relentless Organization’

On 4 August, Carolyn Lamm, an international arbitration, litigation and trade partner based in Washington, DC, took office as the 2009-10 American Bar Association president. Addressing the 555-member ABA House of Delegates in Chicago, IL, Carolyn shared her focus for the coming year, which includes building association membership, furthering diversity initiatives, boosting the association’s political advocacy in Washington, DC, and addressing the needs of Americans impacted by the recession.
