Practice Experience
Tashi Kaul specializes in international trade and investment matters, with a focus on regulatory issues and commercial opportunities arising from commitments under the World Trade Organization (WTO) and Regional Trade Agreements (RTAs). She has extensive experience advising clients on the interpretation of and compliance with WTO Agreements covering market access for goods, tariff classification, trade in services, technical standards and regulations and other international commercial issues. Ms. Kaul has provided counsel to sovereign and private sector clients during multilateral trade negotiations and has advised governments of developing and emerging economies on formulation of policy responses to developments in international trade.
Ms. Kaul joined the Firm in February 2000 and has since worked at the Brussels, Geneva and Washington, DC offices. Prior to joining White & Case, Ms. Kaul worked as an Economist at the WTO in Geneva.
