Practice Experience
Tamer Nagy Mahmoud’s practice focuses on international dispute resolution in complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes, and defense of clients in international investigations. Mr. Mahmoud also counsels corporate clients on antitrust matters, including analyzing the competitive implications of mergers and acquisitions, and navigating the regulatory proceedings before the relevant competition agencies. In addition, Mr. Mahmoud has assisted in the structuring and formation of private equity funds targeting investments in emerging markets, including Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
Mr. Mahmoud has experience in matters relating to the Middle East, as well as matters involving public international law. He counseled governments and non-governmental organizations on numerous matters before international tribunals.
Prior to joining White & Case, Mr. Mahmoud was a member of an international law firm in Cairo, Egypt. His other professional experiences in Washington include research and public presentations on democracy and legal reform in the Middle East.
