Practice Experience

Vladimír Ivančo joined White & Case in 2006. In 2004 Mr. Ivančo graduated from the Ghent University Law School LL.M. program with a specialization in European and Comparative Law. Since joining White & Case, he has provided legal assistance to numerous clients regarding general corporate law, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, public procurement and labor law issues.

Among others, Mr. Ivančo has advised the following clients:

Basell Sales & Marketing Company in connection with the establishment of its representation office in the Slovak Republic and other CEE countries
DAIKIN, a Slovak subsidiary of the Austrian producer of air-conditioning devices, on different issues of corporate governance and the representation of the company in civil proceedings
DOPRASTAV, one of the major construction companies in the Slovak Republic, in connection with various public procurement issues
G&P Quality Management, representation of the German and Czech G&P companies in connection with their claim against a Slovak debtor for payment of outstanding invoices, including the enforcement of the claim and settlement negotiations
Interbrau, a German company, in connection with its claim against a Slovak trading company for the delivery of goods from the public warehouse on the basis of warehouse pledge lists, including settlement negotiations
PCA Sovakia, a Slovak subsidiary of French car producer PEUGEOT CITROEN AUTOMOBILES, on different issues related to (i) real estate, (ii) employment, including representation of the company in civil proceedings, and (iii) corporate governance
Visteon Slovakia, a producer of different components for the automotive industry, with respect to (i) various matters of corporate governance, (ii) restructuring of the company’s operations in the Slovak Republic – demerger, (iii) the acquisition of land for the construction of the Visteon Plant in western Slovakia and subsequent legal assistance related to the construction of the plant
Unomedical, a producer of medical tools and components, on different issues related to corporate governance and real estate in connection with its production facility in Michalovce (Eastern Slovakia)
numerous Spanish real estate developers with respect to the acquisition of land for multiple residential projects in the Bratislava, Nitra and Piestany regions, including due diligence, and the preparation of related transactional documentation
