Mr. Kubr is a partner of the Prague office, who primarily specializes in the areas of real estate and corporate, as well as dispute resolution. Mr. Kubr led teams in various real estate development projects, real estate acquisitions and joint ventures and other property transactions.

Real Estate Development

• Československá obchodní banka, a.s. ("ČSOB"): Mr. Kubr was a member of the team that prepared the structure of the project for the development and construction of the new Prague headquarters of ČSOB, prepared contractual documents, including the documents for the tender process and participated in the final take-over and acquisition of the completed project.
• A major construction company: Mr. Kubr further provided legal advisory services to the company during the financial restructuring of its receivables related to construction contracts and its participation in the sale of a Prague hotel.
• Czech & Slovak Property Fund B.V. ("CSPF"): Mr. Kubr provided legal advice in connection with the development agreements for the construction of a shopping center in Jablonec and an administrative building in Prague.
• Doughty Hanson & Co European Real Estate Fund: Mr. Kubr currently represents one of the largest European funds, in connection with construction agreements and other agreements related to development and construction.
• ABLON s.r.o.: Mr. Kubr advised ABLON in connection with various legal issues arising from the development and construction of administrative and residential projects in Prague.
• Quinlan Private Golub ("QPG"): Mr. Kubr is advising QPG in connection with various legal issues regarding the development of their projects in Prague.
• A major construction company: He provided legal advice in connection with the evaluation of risks and potential disputes arising from the construction agreement.

Real Estate Acquisitions and Joint Ventures

• CSPF: Mr. Kubr provided legal advisory services during several complex real estate acquisition transactions in the Czech Republic.
• CSPF: Mr. Kubr represented CSPF in their joint venture projects in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, including a development project of a prime shopping center in Trenčín and several residential joint ventures in Prague.
• GE Real Estate: Mr. Kubr represented GE Real estate in connection with a joint venture project regarding development of a shopping center in the Czech Republic.
• Doughty Hanson & Co European Real Estate Fund: Mr. Kubr was a member of the team that assisted one of the largest European funds of its kind in connection with the sale of an office park in Prague, including the tender process.
• Česká konsolidační agentura (Czech Consolidation Agency) ("ČKA"): Mr. Kubr assisted in the sale of a leading Czech development group, which entailed preparing the tender documentation, the contractual documents, and the assessment of bids.

Mr. Kubr also took part in several bank-financing projects, including real estate financing provided by ČSOB, for the construction of a major project in Prague 5-Smíchov and acquisition financing provided by ČSOB for the acquisition of a large real estate development group.

Dispute Resolution

• A Prague developer: Mr. Kubr provided legal advisory in a dispute with an insurance company.
• A Scottish oil & gas company: Mr. Kubr assisted with its representation in large arbitration proceedings related to a joint venture in the exploration and production of natural hydrocarbons in the Czech Republic. The amount in controversy in the arbitration was 2 billion Czech crowns.
• ČSOB: He assisted in the successful representation of the bank in Czech litigation proceedings against a Bulgarian shipbuilding company regarding the financing of the construction and purchase of a naval vessel.
• A Netherland Investor: Mr. Kubr represented a real estate fund in a dispute regarding the acquisition of a shopping center in the Czech Republic.
• A Czech developer: Mr. Kubr is currently providing legal advisory services to one of the biggest Czech developers in connection with the dispute regarding the joint venture development project.
