White & Case's Tax Practice and Janusz Fiszer Earn Top Rankings

On 23 June 2009, White & Case's Tax Practice and Janusz Fiszer, Tax partner in the Warsaw office, were recognized in the 3rd Ranking of Tax Advisory Firms, published by Rzeczpospolita, the largest Polish national daily business press. The Tax Practice and Fiszer earned the largest number of recommendations (three) of all law firms and individual tax advisors. The Tax Practice ranked second in the category "Law firms with best tax departments" and was listed as "recommended." Fiszer earned first place in the category "Recommendations – best experts," in the sub-category "Corporate income tax." In Forbes' recent rankings of law firms – a ranking based on surveys sent to 100 law firms and 400 Polish firms – White & Case ranked 10th in the category "Best universal law firm" and second in the category "Taxes."
