William Pak is a member of the Investment Funds Group at White & Case. He worked in the New York office of White & Case prior to joining the Hong Kong office.

Mr. Pak has substantive experience in the establishment and representation of both U.S. and international private investment funds including private equity funds, hedge funds, real estate funds, distressed funds and hybrid funds. Investors in such funds have included U.S. tax-exempt and ERISA investors, U.S. taxable investors and various other non-U.S. investors. He has acted for fund sponsors, fund managers, placement agents and investors from the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Prior to joining White & Case, Mr. Pak worked in the mergers & acquisitions department in the San Francisco office of a major accounting firm where he provided transactional tax advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and spin-offs involving private equity funds, U.S. corporations, partnerships, LLCs and foreign entities.
