2015 Volunteer Leadership Awards
Each year, White & Case honors a select group of individuals with our Volunteer Leadership Awards in recognition of their substantial contributions to our charitable and community projects. The following people were recognized in 2015 for work over the prior 12 months.
Campbell Steedman (Abu Dhabi)
For leadership developing the client collaboration with Nestlé's Alliance for YOUth Initiative, a major employment program mobilizing companies to play a positive role in encouraging youth employment.
Li Xue (Beijing)
For leadership and support of charitable programs in Beijing, including environmental programs, volunteer teaching activities and charitable donation drives.
Csaba Kiraly (Hamburg)
For support of the social responsibility initiatives throughout the 2014 White & Case Football and Volleyball World Cup.
Cheryl Ashman (London)
For commitment and support of the collaboration with Nestlé's Alliance for YOUth Initiative, a major employment program mobilizing companies to play a positive role in encouraging youth employment.
Stephen Birch & Jennifer Tellyn (London)
For participation in St Mungo’s Work Placement Program, a training scheme for the homeless that entails hosting a candidate for a three-month placement.
Zeki Gurbuz (London)
For raising funds for the Lerato Educational Centre in Johannesburg through the sale of raffle tickets at the "Africa Unmasked" market place booth at the 2014 Global Partner Meeting in Berlin. The Lerato Educational Centre educates, feeds and clothes vulnerable children in the local area.

For development of an employability skills day for injured ex-servicemen and women in collaboration with Walking With The Wounded and the Recovery Career Services.
Anna Huq, Analise Rodgers-Callan & James Whiteley (London)
For mobilizing support for the PRIME initiative, involving 14 students from Platanos College in Stockwell shadowing mentors in London business services for a week of work experience.

For leadership and support of charitable programs in Los Angeles.
Erwin Khoyoy S. Claver (Manila)
For leadership and support of charitable programs in Manila, including disaster relief efforts, activities for economically disadvantaged children and environmental programs.
Jimmy Gabriel (Manila)
For leadership and support of charitable programs in Manila, including disaster relief efforts and school renovation activities.
Faye Amat (Miami)
For leadership and support of charitable programs in Miami.
Taylor Johnson (New York)
For mobilizing support of programs with the Young Women’s Leadership Network, which helps economically disadvantaged secondary school students prepare for college and Safe Horizons, the largest victims’ services agency in the US.
Erin Noll (New York)
For mobilizing support of programs with StreetWise Partners, which helps economically disadvantaged individuals develop employability skills.
Gregory Pryor (New York)
For leadership and support organizing the Corporate/M&A Community Service Day during which more than 50 lawyers and families transformed a local elementary school with murals, mosaics and a new garden.
Carolyn Vardi and the Lawyers Committee (New York)
For developing the Lawyers Committee Impact Week during which we partnered with Food Bank for New York City. Our lawyers and staff donated to a virtual food drive, helped sort and package food and set up a pantry to distribute food at a local public school.
Stephanie Sun (Shanghai)
For leadership and support of charitable programs in Shanghai, including donation drives, environmental programs and charity races.
Jean Newfield (Silicon Valley)
For leadership and support of charitable programs in Silicon Valley.
Miyuki Tsuchida (Tokyo)
For leadership and support of charitable programs in Tokyo, including the Fit for Charity event and office building initiatives.
Doug Jasinski (Washington, DC)
For leadership and support of programs with Habitat for Humanity and Bread for the City.
Jeffrey Stellhorn (Washington, DC)
For mobilizing a team of volunteers to participate in the Polar Bear Plunge, which raised funds to support the Maryland Special Olympics.
