Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Capital Markets Practice with the addition of counsel Claudio Medeossi in the United Arab Emirates.

Medeossi, who is based in Dubai, has extensive experience in capital markets, asset finance and structured finance, including Islamic finance transactions and advises banks and corporate trustees in their roles as note trustee/security trustee/security agent and delegate/representative under sukuk transactions. His experience also extends to advising banks in their roles as paying, fiscal and facility agents, including in relation to debt workouts, defaults, restructurings and project finance. He has advised clients in various jurisdictions, including Europe, the GCC, Africa and Asia.
White & Case has been actively supporting clients in the GCC states for more than 50 years. The Firm has more than 45 lawyers working across its offices in the Middle East, advising clients in relation to English, US, Saudi Arabian, UAE and French law. Earlier this year, capital markets partner Debashis Dey joined the Firm in the UAE.
