Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Banking Practice with the addition of leading real estate finance lawyer Jeffrey Rubinoff as a new partner in London.
"White & Case has built strong banking, real estate finance and real estate practices in London," said partner Eric Berg, Head of the Firm's Global Banking Practice. "Jeffrey is an acknowledged leader in real estate finance and his skills, experience and strong reputation in the market will be a considerable advantage as we continue to add depth to these practices."
The addition of Rubinoff, who joins the Global Banking Practice, supports the Firm's strategic focus on profitable growth in London. He advises a wide range of clients including investment banks, private equity funds, real estate investors, hotel companies and sovereign wealth funds on national and cross-border real estate transactions. Rubinoff joins White & Case from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he was a partner from 1999, and brings more than 25 years of experience.
"There are exciting synergies between our banking, private equity and real estate practices, and Jeffrey's considerable experience advising investment banks, private equity firms and property investment, real estate and hotel groups plays to our strengths," said partner Lee Cullinane, Regional Section Head, EMEA Banking. "As a top practitioner in his field with proven leadership qualities, his arrival will further strengthen our client offering."
Oliver Brettle, executive partner in London and member of the Firm's Executive Committee, said: "Real estate finance is a specialism that is increasingly in demand from our clients. It's a testament to the strength of White & Case that we can attract partners of Jeffrey's calibre to further expand practices such as real estate finance and to continue to provide our clients with advice and support of the very highest quality."
