Global Law Firm White & Case LLP has advised the underwriting banks in the sale of Lagardère's stake in EADS.
On 9 April 2013, the Lagardère group announced the sale of its 7.4% stake EADS. The sale was done through a private placement with qualified investors, by means of an accelerated bookbuilding. The total value was approximately €2.3 billion. EADS participated in this placement for a total amount of approximately €500 million. Following the transaction, Lagardère no longer holds EADS shares.
The placement was managed by BofA Merrill Lynch and Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, acting as Joint Global Coordinators and Joint Bookrunners, and by Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank as Joint Bookrunner.
