Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the banking syndicate which successfully completed the €500 million notes issue by French power generation and transport conglomerate Alstom.
The syndicate was led by HSBC and comprised Lloyds Bank, The Royal Bank of Scotland, UniCredit Bank, Banca IMI, BayernLB, CM-CIC and Mitsubishi UFJ Securities.
Alstom's €500 million notes issue was realised on July 8, 2013, bearing interest at a rate of three percent, and will mature on July 8, 2019. The net proceeds of the issue will be used for the group's general corporate purposes.
The White & Case team which advised the syndicate was led by partner Thomas Le Vert with support from associate Tatiana Uskova and, for tax aspects, partner Alexandre Ippolito with assistance from associate Marcus Schmidbauer.
