Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Turkish private equity firms Actera Partners LP and Esas Holding A.Ş. on their acquisition of U.N. Ro-Ro İşletmeleri A.Ş. from leading global investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P.
Actera is the largest private equity firm dedicated to investments in Turkey, with a total equity capitalization in excess of US$1.6 billion. Esas is a leading investment company in Turkey that is focused on investments in Turkey and also overseas.
Established in 1994 by a number of international transport companies, U.N. Ro-Ro is one of the fastest growing freight shipping and port owners and operators in the Mediterranean, with an enterprise value of US$1 billion.
