  • Entrepreneurial Equity Partners in a series of private equity acquisitions, including:
    • The acquisition of Daniele International, LLC, a branded leader and private label producer of specialty Italian charcuterie and deli meats, including prosciutto, salami and snack packs.
    • The acquisition of Creminelli Fine Meats, LLC, a branded producer and distributor of premium charcuterie and protein snacks, including charcuterie snack trays, deli trays, artisan salami, artisan deli, and salami minis.
    • The acquisition of Grecian Delight Foods, Inc., a leading manufacturer and marketer of Greek and Mediterranean inspired cuisine.
    • The acquisition of Kronos Foods, Inc., a leader and producer of manufacturing and selling global cuisine, including Mediterranean and Middle Eastern foods, ready-to-eat proteins, plant-based proteins and bakery products.
  • Wind Point Partners in a series of private equity transactions, including:
    • The acquisition by Evans Food Group of Turkey Creek Pork Skins, a maker of pork grind products.
    • The sale of Evans Food Group, a leading global producer of branded and private label pork rinds, to Highlander Partners.
  • Searchlight Capital Partners, L.P., a private equity firm with investments in North America and Europe, in the carve-out of Mitel’s Clearspan Division, exclusively focused on delivering innovative cloud communications solutions for service providers, large enterprises, governments, and educational institutions.
  • Investindustrial VI L.P., a leading European private equity firm, in the acquisition of Jupiter Holding I Corp., a global manufacturer of premium spas, swim spas, whirlpool, soaker and walk-in bathtubs and related bathroom products and accessories, operating under such brands as Jacuzzi®, Sundance®, Dimension One Spas®, Hydropool®, ThermoSpas® and BathWraps®, from investment funds affiliated with each of Apollo Global Management, LLC, Ares Management Corporation, and Clearlake Capital Group, L.P.
  • Ubicquia, a leading provider of mobile solutions to municipalities, in its Series C financing.
  • Schneider Electric in various transactions, including:
    • The formation of a joint venture with Huck Capital, which will deliver energy-as-a-service projects in the North America market up to 10MW in size.
    • The Class B Preferred Shares investment round in SmartD Technologies, Inc., a venture company in the electrical distribution business.
    • The Series Seed investment round in Dash Energy, Inc., a broker in the oil and energy industry.

Representative matters prior to joining White & Case include the representation of:

  • Wind Point Partners in a series of private equity transactions, including:
    • The acquisition of Evans Food Group and the add-on acquisition of Gaytan Foods.
    • Various acquisitions leading to the ultimate sale of Novolex™, a world leader in packaging choice and sustainability.
    • The acquisition by Hearthside Food Solutions of Oak State Products and Standard Functional Foods Group, and the sale of Hearthside Food Solutions’ branded and private label cereal, granola and snacks businesses.
    • The acquisition of Vision Ease Lens and Daemyoung Optical, and subsequent sale.
  • Stonebridge Partners, a private equity firm, in connection with the acquisition of BrandFX, LLC and Cast-Crete USA.
  • Arsenal Capital Partners in a series of private equity transactions sales, including:
    • The sale of Accella Performance Materials, a leading North American specialty polyurethane platform.
    • The sale of Certara, a leading international provider of technology-driven decision support solutions for drug development.
    • The sale of Chromaflo Technologies Corp., a leading producer of proprietary, high-performance colorants and chemical dispersions.
  • The Amynta Group (JV between AmTrust Financial Services and Madison Dearborn Partners) in two acquisitions in the insurance space.
  • A leading truck stop and travel center owner and operator as well as refining and alternative fuels concerns in connection with various M&A transactions.
  • An international professional services firm in its acquisition of tax, accounting, consulting and wealth advisory practices.
  • International industrial holding company in its acquisition of an international food and beverage concern, an international railcar concern and an OEM auto parts supplier.
