Alyson Cox Yates
Alyson Cox Yates is an associate in White & Case's Washington, DC office and a member of the Firm's Global Competition and Antitrust Group. Her practice concentrates on complex federal litigation in the areas of antitrust and class actions, at both the trial and appellate levels. Alyson has regularly represented global pharmaceutical companies, such as Allergan, in class action litigation matters involving "reverse payment" settlements of patent disputes and lifecycle management strategies.
Alyson also devotes substantial time to pro bono matters, with a focus on solitary confinement litigation.
Prior to joining White & Case, Alyson served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Eugene Siler, Jr. of the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Honorable Thomas Varlan, of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
During law school, Alyson was the Managing Online Editor of the Washington & Lee Law Review and the Senior Articles Editor of the German Law Journal. She also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Royce Lamberth of the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
