Overview

Peter Lu is a Counsel in the firm's M&A Corporate Practice based in London and leads firm's China practice in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Peter is a fluent English and Mandarin speaker.

His practice focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and corporate governance, advising clients across a wide range of industries, including consumer, energy, infrastructure, transportation and financial institutions. Peter was seconded to British American Tobacco for six months in 2010. He is regularly asked by clients to act for them on their M&A transactions and corporate governance issues. Peter is a postgraduate supervisor at Peking University and teaches M&A courses at Chinese and foreign universities.

Peter joined White & Case in January 2017 from a magic circle law firm.
