Current and future lawyers enjoyed the fourth Skyline Drinks event at White & Case in Frankfurt, an informal chance to socialise and network in a spectacular setting. 

Organised by current interns, trainees and associates, this special evening was exclusively for junior lawyers and law students. Former recruiting partner Dr. Alexander Kiefner says that the event is an ideal forum for this group to connect and share their experiences. "Young colleagues are our best ambassadors, they give a more vivid impression than any brochure or Firm presentation ever could."

As the event began, the weather looked briefly unfavourable and the famous Frankfurt skyline was hidden behind a cloud. Fortunately, things swiftly cleared up and the 200 guests were able to enjoy the evening as planned. 

Marie Bretschneider, Legal Recruiting Coordinator, had this to say: "The young White & Case team really got the ball rolling for one evening, organising everything from the music to the exclusive snack buffet and the drinks and the guest list. All who attended appreciated the very individual signature of those involved." 

A chance to get to know the Firm in a fun setting

In a short address, recruiting partner Dr. Bodo Bender welcomed the next generation of lawyers and invited them to make the most of the opportunity to get to know the Firm.

A saxophonist—who later also kept spirits high as a DJ—provided musical entertainment throughout the event. Guests enjoyed the chance to take a fun photo with new friends and old acquaintances at the special photo booth.

Intern Milan Schäfer sums up the summer 2019 Skyline Drinks gathering: "I was thrilled at how relaxed the mood was. I've never experienced this at any law firm before!"
