White & Case Credited on Three Deals of the Year

At the recent Asian Counsel awards, White & Case advised on three deals commended as "Deals of the Year 2006".

White & Case advised Deutsche Bank in connection with the financing arrangements for Softbank's US$16 billion acquisition of Vodafone's Japanese mobile telephony operations, Vodafone KK – the largest leveraged buyout in Asia in 2006.

On Tannguh LNG, the largest private sector project in Indonesia since the Asian financial crisis, White & Case represented the project sponsors in the $2.6 billion financing.

For the IndoCoal transaction, the largest bond transaction by an Indonesian corporate and the largest Asian private placement to date, White & Case represented the issuer, IndoCoal Exports.
