Best Legal Advisor for Investment Banking in CEE

In the June 2007 issue of Global Finance magazine, White & Case was named best legal advisor for investment banking in Central and Eastern Europe for the second consecutive year.

As evidence of its strength in the CEE region, the magazine cited White & Case's representation of Gazprombank of Russia on the first fully convertible ruble Eurobond, and its role on the sale of Matel to Hungarian Telephone and Cable.

Global Finance also noted that the Firm's Islamic Finance Unit advised Dar Al-Arkan Real Estate Development on the $380 million Al-Qasar project in Saudi Arabia.
