
White & Case Ranked Number One for Global Bank Finance

White & Case is the number one global legal adviser to debt providers on leveraged buyouts, in terms of deal volume, according to Mergermarket's 2007 deal tables.
The Firm secured number one rankings in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
White & Case also ranked number one globally in the same category through 2005-2007, in terms of deal volume, advising on a third more deals than its nearest competitor, and second globally in terms of deal value.
The new rankings also show that the Firm's leveraged finance deal flow is evenly split between the key US and European markets, illustrating its strength on both sides of the Atlantic.
Underlining its standing in the key benchmarking publications, White & Case's Global Banking & Finance Practice was also recently awarded a Tier One ranking in the latest edition of the Chambers Global guidebook.
The Firm's Global Bank Finance Practice regularly advises on ground-breaking and multibillion dollar transactions, recent examples of which include advising:
- Goldman Sachs, UniCredit and VTB Bank in connection with the debt financing for the acquisition of juice company Nidan Soki by private equity firm Lion Capital – the first-ever foreign sponsor-driven leveraged buyout in Russia
- Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan Chase in the largest public-to-private leveraged buyout financing transaction in Singapore to date – KKR’s US$600 take-private of manufacturing company MMI
- Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse in connection with US$2.55 billion of credit facilities provided to leading information services company Ceridian
