Top of Global Bankruptcy Table — Again

White & Case has again been ranked in first place in The Deal's end-of-year bankruptcy league tables, which rank firms by number of active debtor, creditor and other cases.

As of December 31st, 2007, White & Case was credited with a role on 691 active cases, placing way ahead of the second-placed firm with 261 cases. The firm also topped the same league table in 2006.

Düsseldorf-based partner Biner Bähr was named among the top individual bankruptcy lawyers worldwide, ranking first overall with 349 active assignments. Hamburg partners Sven-Holger Undritz and Bettina Schmudde were also ranked in the leading list, with 142 active cases and 57 active cases respectively.

White & Case's restructuring team is among the most respected in the world, with a global team comprised of some 150 lawyers in 24 countries.
