
White & Case Tops Global Bankruptcy Table Again

White & Case continues to dominate The Deal's Global Bankruptcy League Tables. The Firm was the leader for the first quarter of 2008, a position it has held for several consecutive quarters.
The Firm acted in more than 700 bankruptcy cases worldwide in the first three months of the year. With 91% of those deals originating outside the US, White & Case re-emphasized its status as a global power in bankruptcy.
Three White & Case partners from the Firm's German offices were listed among the top individual global bankruptcy lawyers. Biner Bähr of the Düsseldorf office was ranked first overall, with 422 active cases.
Two partners from the Hamburg office were also recognized — Sven-Holger Undrtiz was credited with 184 active cases, while Bettina Schmudde had 80 active cases to her credit.
