Practice Experience
Benedikt Gillessen's area of practice covers the whole scope of company law, with the main focus on stock corporation law and the law of capital markets and the legal advice to companies listed on a stock exchange (including so-called G-REITs).
Since about ten years, he gives advice to domestic and foreign investment banks and issuers in the course of initial public offerings (IPOs), capital increases, other listings, public takeovers, convertible bonds, de-listings and other similar capital market transactions. He also advises with regard to all questions arising from existing listings on a stock exchange. Furthermore, Mr. Gillessen counsels also in general company law, e. g. transformation law and law on companies with limited liability.
Mr. Gillessen gave leading advice in numerous capital market transactions and has gained wide experience in the context of German and international securities prospectuses. In the recent past, he has worked on (amongst others)
