Practice Experience

Donald Baker's practice includes a broad range of corporate and corporate finance transactions in Brazil and elsewhere in Latin America. Mr. Baker's practice involves cross-border offerings of debt and equity securities by Brazilian and other Latin American issuers. He is regularly engaged in syndicated lending, structured financing and project financing transactions. He also has significant experience in cross-border acquisitions and joint ventures.

Mr. Baker has been in the Firm's São Paulo office since its opening in 1997. Prior to joining White & Case, he worked for Deloitte, Haskins & Sells for four years as a Certified Public Accountant. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable William S. Hoeveler in the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida.
