Detlev Gabel advises companies on national and international IT outsourcing and Business Process Outsourcing initiatives with a particular focus on the financial services sector.

Furthermore, Detlev Gabel has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating contracts concerning the development, licensing, implementation and maintenance of software and complex IT systems.

His knowledge also covers data protection law, where he advises companies on all aspects of corporate and contractual data protection regulations, including the cross-border transfer of personal data.

Detlev Gabel frequently publishes and speaks on topics relating to the aforementioned areas. In addition, he is a lecturer for data protection law, forming part of the LL.M. program in IT Law at the University of Oldenburg, Germany.
