Practice Experience
David Hille has a broad range of experience in complex contract and business disputes, securities litigation, antitrust litigation, and intellectual property and construction arbitration. David has extensive trial, hearing and argument experience in federal and state courts around the country and before arbitral tribunals. David is also head of the Firm's Disputes Section for the Americas.

Representations include: 
  • Sovereign wealth funds and other financial institutions in a variety of international disputes
  • A petroleum refining and marketing company in an antitrust class action involving claims under Section 1 of the Sherman Act 
  • A national food service provider in a RICO class action involving claims of fraudulent billing 
  • A worldwide manufacturer of gas turbines in an international construction arbitration involving a combined-cycle power plant in the US 
  • An international oil and energy company in securities and ERISA class actions involving claims of insider trading and breach of fiduciary duties arising out of a merger transaction 
  • A leading cable and telecommunications company in a series of antitrust class actions and in a dispute with a billing and customer care vendor with hundreds of millions of dollars at stake 
  • A global electronics manufacturer in an intellectual property arbitration involving complex questions of US and Japanese patent law 
  • A leading Asian paper manufacturer in a series of lawsuits arising out if its worldwide restructuring 
  • A global bank in New York state court proceedings involving the transfer of US$6 billion in client fiduciary accounts 
  • A worldwide life sciences company in a series of patent infringement actions relating to genetically modified corn seed 
  • A hedge fund in a fiduciary duty case before the Delaware Chancery Court
