David is an associate in the Firm's Energy, Infrastructure, Projects and Asset Finance group. His focus is on international aircraft finance and leasing transactions. David's experience includes secured debt financings, operating, finance and tax-based lease structures, export credit agency-supported financings, aircraft sales, purchases and lease novations.

David has represented export credit agencies, banks, leasing companies and operators, and has recently acted for ECGD, COFACE, CIT Group, DVB Bank SE, HSH Nordbank AG and Aeroflot, amongst others.

David's recent transactional experience includes:

• Acting for CIT Group in connection with the ECA-supported lease financing of a number of Airbus aircraft leased to various airlines;
• Acting for ECGD in connection with the ECA-supported financings of 5 Airbus A330 aircraft for AirAsia X Sdn Bhd and 6 Airbus A330 aircraft for Thai Airways International Public Company Limited;
• Acting for Société Générale in connection with the French Tax lease financing of 2 Airbus A380 aircraft for Deutsche Lufthansa;
• Acting for the lenders and the risk participant in connection with the financing of 1 A380 Airbus aircraft for Emirates;
• Acting for the lenders in connection with the financing of 6 Airbus Aircraft purchased by a major operating lessor, on lease to various airlines;
• Representing the lenders in connection with the transfer of a portfolio of aircraft of a Swedish operating lessor into a single Irish holding structure;
• Acting for the lenders in connection with the financing of 2 new Boeing 777 aircraft for Emirates;
• Acting for the lenders in connection with the re-financing of 2 Airbus A320 aircraft owned by AAR, as owner / lessor, and leased to SriLankan Airlines;
• Acting for RBS Aerospace in connection with (i) the negotiation of leases of 2 Airbus A320 aircraft with a major British airline and the delivery of those aircraft to that airline and (ii) the sale of those aircraft within the RBS group;
• Acting for a major rolling stock operating lessor in connection with the sale and leaseback of its UK rolling stock;
• Acting for a major rolling stock operating lessor in connection with the sale and leaseback of its European rolling stock in multiple jurisdictions; and
• Acting for the lenders in connection with the commercial financing of satellite equipment.

David joined the firm in 2005 and qualified as an associate in August 2007.
